my walls… part 2 | champaign-urbana family photographer

All right… some more display examples from my home while you wait for me to announce the winner! This collage is displayed on a wall that we built for this purpose.  There are 4 lights in the ceiling above this display, to highlight this wall in the evening… it really makes this room one of my favorite places to be in the winter… cozy lighting, a warm fire burning in the fireplace, and beautiful images of my girls when they were brand new!

In several rooms of my home, I use shelves to display photographs.  This first example is in our “piano room” – just to the side of our living room where the canvases are displayed… (these are all 8×10 and smaller – they look pretty small don’t they? I need to order some new, bigger ones I think, especially now that they’re just down the wall from the 20×30 canvas)…

…and this example is actually in our basement!  On the top shelf are two unframed prints (a 12×18 on the left and a 10×20 storyboard on the right), but since they’re mounted on styrene (as are all Sweet Pea Photography prints) they can be displayed on their own without a frame if you’d like!  Oh, and don’t worry – the 16×20 family portrait there is framed without glass – so don’t worry about it not being matted! 🙂

Next time I’ll announce the winner of this fun contest, as well as highlighting another recent session! Have a great day!!
