your walls – part 3 | champaign-urbana portrait photographer

Today, as you patiently wait for the winner of the display contest to be announced, we’re going to take a look at how some more Sweet Pea Photography clients chose to frame their photographs.  In this first example, this lovely family chose matching frames for their images. The 20×24 print of their newborn is perfect above the changing table, and a 12×18 family portrait is hanging in their living room.  If you’re wondering where to get your prints framed, I’d recommend shopping locally – try out Framer’s Market on Springfield Ave. (they have a “Framer’s Club that you can join for free and receive discounts on framing!)

Another family chose to display their 16×20 family portrait above their fireplace, with a simple black frame that allows the focus to be on the image.  That was a fun session last summer, and I’m looking forward to working with this fun family again this fall!  Finally, a new client of Sweet Pea Photography submitted this shot of some fun frames in their living room, displaying snapshots of their family and friends.  Hopefully, soon they’ll be filling these frames with images from their Sweet Pea session last week!

Okay, you’ve waited long enough! Thanks again for all the entries everyone… and the winner, chosen randomly by my 2-year-old daughter from a scattered array of slips of paper with your names on them… is… Jennifer Dunakey!  Congratulations! You’ll be receiving a $60 print certificate in your mailbox soon.  Also, we’ll be having one more installment of “your walls”, so check back for some really creative ways to display your Sweet Pea Photographs!
