I had a great session with this Help Grow Hope participant a few weeks ago, and it was such a pleasure meeting him and his family!! We had fun climbing on his big slide, playing kickball in his backyard, and picking dandelions (thank you for giving me such pretty flowers!!).  It’s especially amazing, considering this playful kiddo weighed less than five pounds when he was born… thanks to the help of the NICU staff at Carle Foundation Hospital, he spent just over one week in the NICU and is now a wonderfully healthy two-year-old!  That’s what the Help Grow Hope project is all about — giving back to a wonderful part of our community who has given so much to these families…  If you’d like to learn more, you can email me and I’ll send you all the details!
