some sunny-day housekeeping…

…and a sneak peek too! Just wanted to let you all know that I’m going to be adjusting some prices beginning in September. Now that I’m doing all of my sessions on-location, I’m starting to feel the pain of high gas prices. I never really realized how much driving it takes to go from Savoy to Urbana to Mattoon to Monticello and back to Savoy all in one day! Ugh. So then the debate becomes… make up for this expense by raising print prices or session fees? The way I see it, the cost of the session is directly influenced by gas prices. Plus, if you invest in the session then you’re really going to want lots of prints – so it seems a bit mean for me to raise print prices a lot… kinda like dangling a carrot in front of a horse, right? So I’m thinking that beginning Sept. 1 my session fee is going to bump up some, and the print prices may go up just a little bit. If you have any thoughts on this, please let me know! Or if not, just enjoy the sunshine today!
