Thanksmas fun | plainfield children’s photographer

Over the weekend, our family had a great time celebrating “Thanksmas” at my parents’ farm in Plainfield… what is “Thanksmas” you ask? Well, it is our annual weekend-after-Thanksgiving-get-together-to-celebrate-Christmas of course! Which translates into 42 people all jammed into one house (15 of those people being children under the age of 7), swinging on the tire swing, opening gifts, eating lots of scotcharoos and cheesy potatoes, playing a few hands of euchre, eating some of Great Aunt Helen’s ginger cookies and Grandma Muehling’s sweet rolls, and then piling into various cars and vans to make the drive back home. Whew! Basically it is a ton of fun! I am so thankful for my awesome family, and for the opportunity to spend time with them. I hope your Thanksgiving was lots of fun too!
