I just wanted to take a moment to invite all of you — my friends, family, and faithful blog followers — to join me this weekend at a celebration of Easter!  FCC is an awesome church in southwest Champaign (you might know it as the church with the indoor playground!) and we’re so excited about the services this weekend. I’ll be singing at all 5 services in the worship center (and so will my husband Sky, rockin’ out on the guitar) so stop by any of them this weekend and say hello!

Oh my… this momma is going to have her hands full in a few years!  Wait. Scratch that. In a few years, these sweet twins will at least be able to feed themselves, dress themselves, and sleep at a normal time… so I guess this momma is going to have her hands full FOR a few more years!  Good thing there’s a helpful big sister (not to mention a fantastic dad) in this fun family too!  Thanks for letting me spend some time with your family at your home in Champaign last week – it was a treat!  I hope you enjoy this sneak peek from your newborn photography session, and remember to leave a comment – after 25 I’ll gift these cuties a free 5×7 print.

These kiddos recently moved to a new house, and they’re already feeling right at home! They were excited to show me their new bedrooms, and I was excited to see my artwork all over their new walls.  🙂  We had a great time playing together and jumping on the bed (well, I didn’t jump… I watched…) and capturing some new images to add to their collection.  Thanks for a fun time, and as always, remember to leave a comment here on the blog so these kiddos can receive a free 5×7 print after 25!

I really love the creativity of these great parents in naming their boys — their first son (who I had the pleasure of photographing when he was a newborn) has a name that is reminiscent of the starry heavens, and their newest addition has a name that reminds them of the solid earth… how cool!  We had a great newborn photography session last week at their home in Champaign, and this little guy was simply perfect.  I wonder if his big brother told him beforehand that Sweet Pea Photography sessions are totally relaxed and he would be the star of the show…?  Perhaps…  🙂  Leave a comment below to help these boys earn a 5×7 print after 25 comments!

Last weekend I had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful family at their home in Champaign for a newborn photography session…. and this little guy was as perfect as a baby can be… happy sounds, sweet sleep, and inquisitive eyes while he was awake!  His parents are clearly smitten with him (and each other), which is simply a treat to see.  Thanks for the privilege of capturing this special time in the life of your family!
