These kids had a great time exploring the wooded area in their Mahomet backyard during our family photography session a few weeks ago.  It was one of the last beautifully warm days of fall, and we took advantage of it! What a gorgeous fall day for this family photography session! We took advantage of my indoor studio at CU Studio Share in downtown Urbana to set up a “home base” for our session, and then ventured out around downtown to catch the last fall colors of the season. Most of you know that my husband owns an awesome gym here in Champaign – CrossFit CU – and last week I had the special treat of photographing one of the most CrossFit-addicted families I know! This handsome guy is one of the trainers at CFCU, his super-strong wife leads a mobility yoga class at the gym, and all three of their kids are proud of the callouses on their hands from practicing pull-ups in their garage! This Beloved family session in Mansfield a few weeks ago was really special… we met at this family’s farm, which has been in their family for many generations, and had a great time reminiscing about happy memories and funny moments from the life of their family.  It was so cool to watch them laugh together over old stories (some tall tales perhaps?) and embrace the next generation – this sweet girl!
