Yep, she’s so stinkin’ cute it makes me have to catch my breath…
I am so excited to attend this couple’s wedding next summer! Not only are they awesome, and funny, and have great laughs, and are a blast to be around, but they’re also part of my family! Lucky me 🙂 Thanks for the opportunity to do a Beloved engagement session with you guys, and congrats again!!

Yay! Love you, Rotch!

It’s always a treat to spend time with families that I’ve known over several years – and even more special when I get to photograph families I’ve grown up with! I’ve known this sweet boy’s dad since we were in high school together, and I’m delighted to visit with their family every year for a photo session – but this visit was even more special because the whole extended family was there too! Thanks again for a fun morning of chatting and catching up (in between silly games and photos of course!)

Yep, this sweet boy is going to be an Illini fan for life… with the amount of Illinois basketball games he’ll be going to this winter and next, I wonder if his first “words” will be I-L-L or I-N-I? 🙂 Thanks for such a nice morning with your family, and I’m looking forward to more neighborly get-togethers as the years go by!

I was super excited to FINALLY spend the morning with this family – after we had to reschedule their session twice earlier this year! (Sometimes three-year-olds decide they need a buzz cut the night before a photo shoot… and once it’s done, we can’t do much other than wait for it to grow back, right??) Though the morning was chilly at their home in Champaign, we had a great time playing games and making up silly secrets — so I think the wait was certainly worth it! Thanks again for a great time with your kiddos!

Thanks so much for putting up with us and our craziness, Allyson! We had a ball and love the photos!!

Once again, I am amazed at how many beautiful kids I get to photograph. And what makes it even better with this family, is that these kids love being silly. I mean REALLY SILLY. They just LOVED that farts and stinky feet were topics of conversation during their family session, and when I took some time with the kiddos on their own without mom and dad around, the main activity became goofy faces and wrestling. I love it 🙂 Thanks for the opportunity to spend the morning with your family – I hope we can do it again sometime soon!

It always makes me smile when I get to photograph twins, because I get to look at TWO cute faces instead of just one! These kiddos had fun with me at CU Studio Share in Urbana a few weeks ago, and we even caught the last of the pretty leaves outside! Thanks for spending the morning with me – I’m already looking forward to next time!
