I’ve had the treat of photographing quite a few little boys and their moms lately, and there’s just something special about that bond. Since I have two girls and no sons, I’m not sure but … from what I see through my lens, I think it’s a little different than the mom/daughter bond. I think boys like the freedom to be snuggly within that relationship, and moms cherish the quiet moments (maybe because they’re few and far between?)… Either way, I had a lovely time with this family from Mahomet a few weeks ago, and their relationships seemed to confirm my hypothesis!
