First, a quick note of congratulations to Kristie Langley, the winner of the “I’d like to introduce…” giveaway this month!!  Kristie’s name was randomly chosen from all the entries to receive a $30 gift certificate to Bella Bambini — lucky gal!  Thanks to everyone who entered and is spreading the word about Sweet Pea Photography!  Okay… on to a super-cute kiddo who has already been through more than his share of struggles (although you’d never guess it by the looks of him today!!)

A big thank-you to this fun little guy and his family who drove down from Gibson City last weekend, to participate in PHASE TWO of the Help Grow Hope project!!  The wonderful folks over in the NICU department of Carle Hospital in Urbana recently asked me to provide them with some more images of kids like this (who started their lives in the NICU and are now as healthy and happy as any other kiddo), and I was more than happy to oblige. It’s been so much fun and such a privilege to meet these amazing families, and I hope you enjoy this sneek peek!  To see all of the images from this project, just stop by the lobby of the 9th floor NICU at Carle (with phase 2 of this project appearing on the 4th floor later this summer!)
