I know, I know… today is supposed to be a “develop on fridays” day… but at the special request of some wonderful clients, this is an early sneak peek instead!  (How do these clients have so much influence, you ask?  Well, they’re fans of Sweet Pea Photography on Facebook, and they pestered until I gave in simply asked nicely!)  Anyway…

I have had the privilege of photographing this family over the past 4 or so years, and it has been such a joy watching them grow, change, and love each other more each time I see them.  When they moved to Chicago last year, I was so sad to see them leave Champaign-Urbana — but I’m glad that Chicago is easily within driving distance so I can still hang out with them every once in a while!!  One of the things I love most about their family photography sessions is that they are so relaxed and laid back, and simply continue living their lives while I document their relationships with each other.  True lifestyle photography sessions are such a neat experience, and I appreciate that this family allows me to stretch my creative muscles each time that I see them.  These are just a few of my favorite images from their session last week…
