Here’s what people are saying about Sweet Pea Photography…
I got the prints and the canvas gallery wrap. I AM IN LOVE!!!! Okay, “pictures” or “photographs” are frankly really poor words to describe the beautiful way you captured and froze my children in time. There is a life in your work that I didn’t fully appreciate until I received the prints. You managed to capture my children in a way that conjures up emotion in me when I look at them. I know that even in 50 years, I will feel that emotion when looking at them. What a gift you have and what your sharing your gift has given me–my children with the life that is in them now, frozen in time. They say you can’t stop time…maybe not, but you have enabled me to travel back in time and in the years ahead I will appreciate that more and more. They grow so quickly…thank you for sharing your wonderful gift. ~ Kelly
Wow! Thank you so much for a great job today. The boys were still talking about “Allyson” this evening. You have a true gift!! I really appreciate all your patience. You really helped me relax and see a different side of photographing children. The funny thing is…… to be really natural for Max would be having you come over after he eats chocolate anything and plays outside for 10 minutes. Somehow, he is always covered in food and dirt. After you took the pictures, I thought….I really should plan a time to have you photograph them with food, dirt and all! BECAUSE that is the BOYS! Anyway, I am sooo excited to see the pics. And, I am going to try to never stress about what they are going to wear, etc. in pictures again. I now know that all that matters is their beautiful little faces, bodies, and actions. ~ Shalane
Your ABSOLUTELY STUNNING photos arrived today. After seeing all the beautius photos, I feel we must have another 11×14 to hang in our kitchen. It’s an art piece, really, with Kavi in it! I love love love the stick picture! You are talented Allyson! ~ Aman
Amazing pictures, exquisitely tasteful, very well done, excellent blog…. wow. I get goosebumps. You have a gift and a very inspirational way of sharing the joy of God’s spirit within you. ~ Charles
At last…the kids are snuggled into their beds and I just enjoyed uninterrupted time looking at the photos… Wow! I feel like I always say the same things every time – but you truly are gifted and the lighting was fabulous in the pics. Loved the way it fell on Olivia’s face and truly showed off her personality and expressions! The shots of Dan tossing Hunter are so cute and is a great example of his love for Hunter. I particularly loved the shots of them together. While Hunter wasn’t in a “cheesin’” mode at that time of their shots together, I thought they were so reflective of “them”. I love the one of them smiling and looking down…what are we going to concoct next to get into trouble for? Thanks so much – I really do love these photos and really appreciate your kindness and generosity in sharing your talents with us. It’s a gift I know I can’t repay. ~ Jennifer
Thank you so much for the beautiful pictures. I always love your work. You definitely have a gift and I am so glad that you have shared it with our family. I know that I will treasure these pictures for the rest of my life. I appreciate your hard work and the ease in which you do your job. You were so patient with our family (especially Maggie) and I am very grateful for that. And as you could tell from the blog you posted, my friends and family think you do excellent work as well! ~ Amanda
I am so excited about the photos–you did a fantastic job! I said to my husband, Jeff, sometimes we get so caught up in the doings of the daily grind that we forget to stop to really appreciate our gifts (our children). These photos capture the magic of their age, their persons, and brought me to tears with an overwhelming gratitude for them–thank you! ~ Anne
Ok… Brad is at work. We were looking at the photos at the same time while talking on the phone. Allyson, we have always thought you are an amazing photographer. You single-handedly brought us both to tears. Brad… literally crying like a school girl at work. While we are not surprised at the quality of your work, we were speechless. Our conversation went something like this:
Photo gallery opened…
Brad: Oh my god.
Tracy: **Throaty sound* NUMBER 2!!
Brad: NUMBER 3!!!!!
Tracy: Holy &$%# NUMBER 4!!!!
and on and on and on and on and on… All the way to number 45. We already do, however, we will FOREVER speak your praises! Amazing. You have successfully photographed our children’s souls, we now literally have Isabella and Cooper captured in time. We will cherish these photos always. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. …p.s. I probably should have waited a few minutes before writing you until I calmed down. Apologies for any part of this “thank you from the bottom of our hearts” note that might be offensive… 🙂 ~ Tracy
(And I’d like to say thank you to all of my wonderful clients, who make my job the best job in the world!!!)
