This session last week in Urbana was a glimpse of what summer is going to be like for this family… lots of time playing outside in the green grass, pretending to be firefighters!  During their session, this cutie had a blast putting out fires, wrestling with his mom and dad, and blowing bubbles (preferably in my face) with his awesome bubble machine.  Thanks for another sunshiny session – I’m so glad we didn’t let the rain put a damper on our fun!

These sweet sisters crack me up.  It has been such a joy watching both of them grow from tiny babies into darling little girls over the past several years.  For this Champaign family photography session, we hung out at my studio in downtown Urbana because it was pouring rain outside! Thank goodness for a gorgeous indoor location at CU Studio Share!  The girls had a blast dancing, singing, and just running around being silly. I love how new babies bring out our REAL smiles, and this little guy certainly did that during his newborn session at his home in Mahomet last week.  It has been my pleasure to work with this growing family several times over the past 2 years – first with the birth of their older son, and now the arrival of baby brother!  I hope you guys enjoy this sneak peek, and remember to comment on this post here on the blog or on Facebook, because after 25 comments I’ll gift this happy family a free 5×7 print!

What a fun Beloved family session in Mahomet this was!  Simply put, I love this family… we’ve been friends for the past 12 years and together we have experienced many of the highs and lows that life can throw at us.  Vacations and road trips, tears and hugs, prayers and encouragement, cranes and CrossFit… through it all, I’m so thankful that God has blessed me with their friendship!
